New grants for nature and education: apply soon!

Two funding opportunities are available to support local groups and schools taking action on climate and nature in Surrey.


Community Nature Recovery Grant  

Up to £5,000 (or £10,000 in special cases) for projects that restore habitats, improve biodiversity and create greener spaces. Apply by 7 November 2025.

Climate Resilient Schools Grant  

Up to £7,000 for projects that help keep classrooms open and students safe, ranging from flooding and wildfire risks to extreme heat. Help your local schools develop funding projects and applications. Grant deadline is 17 November 2025.
