Warm homes local grant – now available

News

The Warm Homes Local Grant is now live for Surrey residents. Eligible residents may apply for up to £15,000 of fabric and energy measures, and a further £15,000 for low carbon heating solutions.

To be eligible, residents must:

  • Have an Energy Performance Rating of D or below (check at this Gov.uk site by entering postcode)

  • have a household income of below £36,000, or be on means-tested benefits (which includes Child Tax Credits and Pension Credits)

Surrey has £14m in WHLG – but needs a staggering £9bn to decarbonise our residential energy sector. The only way local authorities will get more funds if they can demonstrate they’ve used all their grant, so please spread the word and make sure as many homes as possible are supported. Find more guidance and the online application form on this Surrey County Council webpage.
